What do you think about changing the tail numbers on the next 2 new Colgan Beech 1900's from the usual 'CJ' or 'MJ' to N826SK and N826SD?

Sounds like a great idea.... but doing so would take away the name recognition that CJ and MJ stand for... They wouldn't do that, would they????

By the way... Steve was his first name.

Years ago, CCair had two pilots who were killed in a training accident. In honor of them, the company christened thier first two Dash 8s after them. Each of those crewmen had their name painted on the nose under the capt's window. (N880CC and 881CC I think). Very good gesture I thought. Perhaps this would work at Colgan, also less paperwork involved.

I just heard American Eagle dedicated an aircraft to David Cole. Why not dedicate two aircraft to Scott Knabe and Steve Dean?

A darn good idea. I'd go with painting their names on the aircraft, though. Adds a lil more personal touch.
