Rumor has it that some of the Saabs are going to get seatback tv's from some company which is not Direct Tv for free for a year. I for one think that that is stupid but if it is free why not. Also I heard from a reliable source in the company that they are putting six of the airplanes we got on the West Coast somewhere under a couple of EAS contracts this could get exciting.

Hmm, I hope they provide free passenger ANR headsets too. You can't hear anything over the engines in a Saab. I guess there is always closed captioning :laugh:
 
I heard the TV's will feature a game called MEL. You have a full panel mockup and you have to guess what light and chime will sound every 10 minutes. This game is to allow future pilots 2 get a look at the real Colgan 121 world!!

Maybe the will have another game called how's your wife and my kid. Doesn't it make you curious how since the day i have been hired I work a complete opposite schedule than you. Do me a favor and stock angel soft toilet paper that generic paper makes me bleed. Oh and nobody drinks MGD anymore the fad was over in 1991 get some better beer in your fridge.

It wouldn't be Flightinfo without a new Colgan thread...Did hear some additional information though. 3 SAABS (the 2 A models are leaving) purchesed for sure and options for 7 more contigent on more fliyng out of IAD for UAX. Possibility of some COX flying out of Cleveland. At least we do have job security...

Just what the saab needs more weight so you can reduce the amount of passengers you can carry !! atleast the 3 or so you get on without weight restictions will be happy for their 30 min flight !!

Because everyones sick of dumb and dumber coming on here and pulling each others monkey with there butt buddy gay jokes. You guys live together so save it for the crash pad, Colgan sucks no matter how much optimism you might have.........end of story.

We have 3 planes about to come on-line very soon. Growth (whenever it is) will likely be in the NE with United or US Air.

Finally, I for one would like to see a better hiring practice implemented in recruiting new FAs. Recently, I have flown with FAs who:

* Can't speak understandable freakin' English (passengers giggling)
* Are ready to reap the benefits of AARP
* Think "Tom Hanks" is our Chief Pilot (no, really, I'm serious)
* Wear ENTIRELY too much makeup, perfume, and eye shadow (skanky)

Is it possible not to hire windbags who are 18 and stupid, about to enter a retirement community, or that don't care about learning the English language?? There, I'm finished. Anyone else want to add to the list??

It would not be a good day without new Colgan rumors. Here we go, I swear I was in Manassas and I heard from Mikey that we are getting 10 new aircraft for more flying with United, wait, same post last month.

In other news, free internet in the B/C food court in PHL for those of you who travel through here.
