News down the pipe is that Colgan just signed a contract with DAL to fly JFK-PVD and JFK-BDL, to start, using the Beech 1900. DAL's site has the equipment uploaded already. Colgan has to wait until DAL makes the announcement before they can comment, just like the UAL deal.

Sure it's Colgan?

Doing a search for future dates on delta's website for those city pairs does in fact show those flights operated by a Beech 1900. If you click on the flight numbers however, it shows that it is "Delta Connection Carrier, Air Midwest", not Colgan.

Unbelievable! Once aspiring to have an all jet commuter fleet, now Delta is going back to turboprop service with one of the worse airplanes EVER in terms of passenger comfort!

Good God please anybody but Colgan. I quit the place to get away from the stinch, but everywhere I look its there. I figured ATL would be far enough away, but then on the radio I here the queen witch Eden and then see her in the concourse. Guess she flys for Airtran now. But please no Colgan in DCI.

flt 9849 Pvd- JFK delta connection operated by airmidwest. Beech 1900 not colgan do a little research before getting colgan 1900 drivers all hot and bothered. Beech has best Air cond. and heat going.. Besides it is the only aircraft where 85% of the seats are both aisle and windows. Plus it gives you a kick in the a$$ on take-off!!!

i believe the service he is refering to is meant to be Mesa Dash-8, but do to their inability to get these aircraft online Mesa is subbing in some 1900's.

Insert "Hey, Colgan took our flying!" thread here.........

Nice Try!!!

It would have been more credible if you had said that we were bringing back the C models to run DCI out of JFK...I hope G Dub sees this and gives you his 2 pennies worth unless he didn't get his profit sharing IOU from HEF

Thankfully we hardly ever flew any passengers when I was at Commutair.

Not only that but we are adding a Playboy Bunnies as Flight Attendants on all our Beeches.

George Dubs Mama will also be our JFK station manager. She'll take VERY good care of us.

Really well she is terminally ill with AIDS so enjoy. Colgan will never be allowed at JFK unless we declare an emergency even then they will probably just vector us for LGA. How's your wife and my kid I am curious. Haven't you ever wondered why he is black like me? This thread is boring I have to go open a personal hygiene stand in baggage claim.

He's not black but why doesn't he have any hair? You bald little man.

I love the Beech. It's quite comfy.
I heard a rumor that Colgan was gonna start service with the Shorts 360s to replace the Saabs in the Northeast. And that all Beech routes were gonna be served by C-130s with JATO boosters to help in the STOL department.....some of them short little fields are tough to get out of.

And Saab Suckers are going to do the laundry, cook, clean and shine the shoes of the Beech Ballers.

BTW Filipa is returning to work Monday. I will get in touch with her this week, I hope.

That's right....We'll have cleaning wenches at every station!
I'm hoping Filipa gets in touch with one of us for her visit to NYC. It would be nice to show her around.
