I have a friend who was just laid off there. they pencil whip maint according to him, and he flew a year an SIC without having been given the proper checkride to occupy that position. So, he really wasn't an sic, just a passenger. this is 3 rd hand info, but he's been around the charter industry a while. this a only a veiwpoint without having been authenticated.
Got my PPL at Cornelia Fort. When I was there my instructor also worked for the charter company. Guess he had to supplement his income by CFI'ing. This was 11 years ago. He eventually left aviation all together. The Dir. of Av. is Bill, I think. Can't remember his last name. I wonder if that runway still has potholes in it?
