They say the standard is 6 posts, but I'll give this one 2 posts until it gets ugly....

As far as the contract...I don't work there, so I don't really know much about it. I think you could search on the board, it seems this topic has come up about every 8 hours in the last few weeks or months.

word on the street...

Did you ever ask your parents for a shiny new toy when you were little man/woman? Only to have them shout "NO!!, don't you realize that we are broke, how much that will cost and how your other brothers and sisters will want a new toy, too then?"" Only then to watch them win parent of the year at school because of your grades in school? Only to watch them dine on steak and wine with the other adults while you sit at the kid's table eating mac and cheese with your friends?

Well, the kid = COEX pilots

Parents = COEX management

other brothers and sisters = the other labor groups at COEX

your school grades = COEX reliability and performance

steak and wine = executive compensation

mac and cheese = current pilot wages

If only the COEX pilots would stop thinking that they DESERVE a raise (which they do, just not the right argument to make to mgmt) and get off their collective a$$e$ and PROVE to the management of COEX that they can AFFORD to give the pilots a raise and STILL remain profitable...

Screw the negotiating committee, my wife speaks for me!
