Ask 350 and viva

They have all of the answers, remember they stated the majority of the U.S. is against this. They probably watch Coercion Not News on the telly.;)

How many of those 64% polled, has a full set of teeth and does not live in a trailer park?

The typical liberal response is to name call instead of debating the issue, its much easier for them.

Yeah, and the news is full of stories about protests against the war..10,000 in Chicago, a thousand here several thousand there.

What they don't report is that the silent majority who are active in this society, ie. not skipping school, not skipping work to protest want to get this over with and get Saddam outta there.

What's there to debate? Have you looked at the economy lately? Calling people "tree-huggers" and liberals isn't going to keep the airlines from furloughing more pilots when the bombs start dropping. The liberal tree-huggers didn't furlough pilots so don't blame it on them, the liberal tree-huggers didn't say "pilots are over-paid"...McCain said it. The liberal tree-huggers didn't ruin the economy and cause record government spending deficits, Bush did. The right-wing's anti-union stance goes against everything that a pilot contract stands for.

So stay tuned for the furloughs, keep on watching your Fox News in the soup kitchen line...I can't wait until November 2004!!!

Your grasp on cause and effect is baffling. Turn off CNN for a minute and do your own due dilligence on reality.

Oh,wait - don't - then you will have no one to blame.

This economy was tanking during the last months of Clintoon's 'presidency'.

Don't blame (or credit) either Bush or Clinton - its the normal boom or bust American economy. In this case, the dot-com implosion began almost exactly 3 years ago. My company looks like they may be furloughing - but I will work at Wal-Mart and send checks to the republican party if it will keep Hillary out of the White House.....

I can't wait until November 2004!!!

That year cannot come soon enough, let's just hope he doesn't do too much more damage. I guess scratch that idea since he already has doomed this economy.

Show me once where I stated that and I'll send you some of my famous cookies.

I guess it stands to reason that if you rely on misinformation and propaganda for your politics that you will use it as well.

sigh

True that it is arguable whether you can blame Bush or Clinton for the cycle of the economy. You can however blame Bush for letting the majors stagger and fall under heavy taxes in order to revamp the cost structure of the major airlines. He thinks we're all overpaid and despises unions in general.

It never ceases to amaze me when I hear pilots praise Bush. Sure he probably admires your values, etc but when it comes to your profession he has demonstrated over and over that he doesn't give two sh#ts about you or your family and will not hesitate to completely f##k you. In his eyes you are a greedy, lazy pilot (or FA) standing in the way of corporate progress. Please don't thank him for it.

As to the 64% in support of bombing Iraq, another poll stated that 1 in 2 Americans beleive Saddam was directly responsible for 9-11. The biggest atrocity on American soil and, sadly, many people are too stupid to even remember who was behind it. What about N Korea. They are making nukes, for godsakes, and we are worried about some chemical weapons in Iraq (WTF)?

Now will bombing Iraq quell terrorism? Most of the 9-11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. What the heck do these guys have to do with Iraq. I'm afraid it will be more like shaking a hornets nest and will just give the entire middle east reason to justify their hatred of the USA. These extremist groups won't have to work hard to recruit terrorists after we go in and kill half the country in order to "free" the other half. I just don't think the issue is as black and white as many here are stating.

So sick of the big bad bully syndrome. 1441 was passed by the world, the deadline came and went, and no one wants to do anything about it except for the U.S. coalition.

Today, Powell said ALL of the countries that passed 1441 KNOW (not knew) that he had weapons of mass destruction.

Yet, we must turn our backs again to negotiate more when all he does is turn his nose up and laugh at the U.N.?

The French say that they'll veto any use of force against Iraq, then why did they vote in favor of 1441? That is what irritates me the most, going back on their words and making a mockery of the U.N..

As for Germany and Russia, they were smart enough not to reveal their votes, whether they were going to use their veto power or not. Stupid French.

We'll see about hornet's nests and the like, but we live in a very different world now thanks to 9/11. It's not the same when you have to worry about getting on an airliner, or crossing a bridge into Manhattan. We must know think proactively instead of reactively, aggressively instead of passively.

Who's to say that the U.S. is done after Iraq? They may go after Israel and their injustices, or chase Al Qaeda into Jordan or something of that nature, but for now, the focus is on a primary problem because he does pose a threat. He does possess weapons of mass destruction and resolution 1441 proves that beyond a reasonable doubt.

Highest level since just after 9/11. How do all the tree huggers explain this?????????

I bet the Gulf of Tonkin Incident started the same way. I support those fighting this war (you are the true heroes, not those who had their father enlist them in the ANG), but I don't support or respect our elected leaders. My opinons are mine and are not subject to review, because the the Constitution respects this. I pray to God that somewhere in this country there are individuals who can undue the damage that the Rumsfeld thought process had brought upon on our nation. God bless America, however we live in a multi-national world.

I'm confused

There is a very bad, mean man in Iraq. He does very bad things to people who live in his country. Not one liberal has taken up the cause of human rights for the people of Iraq. A man stands up to the Gov't in China and goes to jail, he comes to the US and is treated as a hero of human rights, In Iraq they kill innocent people becasue of their beliefs, but no seems to care about that other GW. Does anyone care about those people?, or are the anti-war people they too busy being full of themselves opposing GW? Prior to WWII, Charles Linberg was a anti-war leader, and that is why he ended up at Willow Run during the war. After the war, he said the anti-war movement was a mistake and he said if the US had been as strong in 1939 as it was in 1943, not 44 or 45, WWII would not have taken place.

NOTHING AT ALL.

Anyways, all debates aside our thoughts and prayers should go out to these troops who give us the freedom day in and day out that some take for granted. War is going to happen now (a given) whether you are for it or against it so we should now pray for our troops and be "supportive".

It's just like the news...as pilots we should know this! The news only reports (in depth) on the negative!!! War protests ALL over...there were also pro war rallies all over. The news makes it sound like everybody is against war. It's just like with airplane crashes. Airplane crashes get front page, successful flights never get mentioned. To the people who don't know the stats, One or two major airplane crashes a year is ALOT...to the rest of us, that is very few compared to the total number of operations.

I wonder how many of the anti-war protesters decided they were anti-war because of what they saw on the news...

With 3 words ....... ignorance is bliss.

No doubt less than the number of pro-war zealots that have embraced "the world according to FOX News, Oral Roberts, Jerry Farwell and Russ Limbaugh", plus the Red Necks, the texans, and the kool aid drinkers. You know, the same group that think Jerry Springer and Cops are the best TV shows.

Now, if I could just get a Bush tee-shirt, with Rumsfeld and Sharon on the back, the problems of mankind would be solved. Wearing it would prove I love my country.

Pray for our troops and support them, this is not their fault.

As for the people in the White House ... "Father forgive them for they know not what they do."
