No! Can't do that one. We crew change at PANC. Unless it is a part 91 ferry flight. Then get a full bag of fuel, lots of coffee, and off you go. Direct to KLAX.

Watching 378 and 2844 crossing the ponds, how long do the 121 regs allow you to fly, 2844 started in Soeul and is headed to LAX, can you do that without rest in Alaska?

OK Wimpy.s... We have done this often...EHAM-OKBK-OBBI- then Part 91 ferry the long way to VHHH. There are NO duty restriction's for international.

When Operations screw up like they usualy do and dont get overfly permits then we have to go the long way:confused:

The long way is flying south of India and then up through China, not flying to HKG westbound!

It happens every now and then, but not often and adds about 1 hour to the flight time.

Yep that ones a poke! Buy the time we get to the Habor Plaza I'm almost to tired to go to the square. Almost!
