Parked next to a beautiful CJ2 yesterday. I took a look inside and the panel was awesome - 3 large EFIS tubes - Pro Line 21 systems. I was very impressed - very advanced for a "small" jet.

Anyone out there fly either the CJ1 or the CJ2? I have read articles about flying the CJ1 - won rave reviews in Flying Mag.

So, how does it compare to what you previously flew? Do you like the Pro Line 21 avionics? What is your favorite aspect of flying one of these aircraft?

Thanks - Envious...

KingAirKiddo flys a CJ1 out of BUY (I used to pull his around ... I can tell ya' about tuggin it :D). Shoot him a message (or just shoot him  ) and he'll probably be happy to share.

The CJs are great airplanes...they are very nimble, albeit not as fast as other jets, but feel like a little sports car. The Collins Pro line, yes, nice nice nice.

I used the fly the Slab - er, I mean Saab - and although the CJ is a much smaller airplane it is tons more fun to fly. Also very simple, not a whole lot of switches to flip, so it's easy to fly single pilot, even in busy airspace.
