I met a guy last week who has flown a Part 91 CE525 (older CitationJet) for the last few years and now he is training for the CJ2. He is very impressed with the "updated" technology and claims it is a blast to fly.

I know there are a few people out there on this board who have flown the CJ1 and CJ2 (English I think) - including frax pilots from Citationshares (CJ1). I have looked at one parked on the ramp and I was impressed with the new technology. The CJ1 looks like a fun airplane to fly.

Any impressions from people on this board? How do you like flying it? How do you like the Pro Line 21? Is it comfortable from a passenger standpoint?

I love all three CJs. The CJ2 was the most fun because of the automation. Collins Pro Line 21 with the universal FMS.

Comfortable for the passengers? A big fat NO. Very narrow cabin, no head room, no elbow room.

I have some time in a CJ-2 and yes it is a very fun airplane. It is fairly easy to fly as with a lot of the straight wing citations...and the automation makes life extremely easy if you are not a custom to having it. The MFD and FMS are the coolest part of it though.
