If you have experience in this jet, would you pm me with a few quick sentences on your opinions on it? Pros/cons, etc...

From talking to some crews, the weak point seems to be the starter/generators. Common thinking is that they really need air motor starters for the relatively large engines but Cessna was adamant about keeping the electric based starter system. The seem to be burning up an inordinate amount of starter/generators. Other than that, the crews seem to like it and it appears to be outperforming the book numbers.

Yeah i hear the same thing. You might want to post it on the fractional forum because we have quite a few and we are beating them to death.

I don't know why they went with starter gens when then x has air start which has never failed me.

I thought I read that you'd been on FMLA... Hope everyone in your family is O.K. ???

Take care...

Isn't that one of those things that probably better to write as a PM?

I don't think so, but if it makes you feel more comfortable, sure... Thanks, if I need your etiquette advice in the future I'll be sure to ask. :erm:

Although Diesel and I disagree on many issues, he is a very well mannered and respected member of this forum and since he had mentioned (I believe) in another public post that he had been on FMLA for a while I thought it appropriate to convey some concern and hope that his family is all well.
