Hello, I have a bite on a Citation II SIC 135/91 corporate job in Southern Cal, I am typed in the Citation but have little very little time in it, most of my experience was 121 turbo prop flying. If asked what type of salery should I say I expect? I was thinking anything over $30K would work, but this corp stuff is new too me, any suggestions would be great.

Thanks, out

pay

I think over 40,000. my .02 worth

First thing I'd do is see what other Citation operators in the area are paying their pilots. Second, aim high but don't hit yourself in the head. If the company is willing to pay 30, don't walk in asking for 50 unless you're absolutely sure there is room for negociation.

Also remember, you could probably fill Dodger Stadium (or whateve corporate sponsor's name it is) with Citation rated pilot's looking (or listening) for a better opportunity.

Regards,

That is great! Please thank those people for helping make this industry the wonderfull place it is.

Socal is an expensive place - $30K won't last long and you can't impress the ladies with that...

Sure he can...the "I'm a pilot" line will more than make up for a small salary and some other small things....thats what my friends tell me.
