pilots have a serious misconception of what a GREAT place to work is.

Ever hear of "relocation"?

"Yeah, its a great place to work" but you gotta pay for your airline ticket and hotel for the interview.

:0 Yeah, I know it stinks that I've got to pay for my own airline ticket, etc...
But if I get the job, it will be the BEST money I have ever spent. I'm looking
at it as an investment in our future. At least I can write it off for 2006 taxes.

Can someone say, CHEAP BAST*RDS

Wolfie, you hold back way too much; you need to open up and tell us how
you really feel. You are way too shy. But I know one thing about you.

I know you like those BIG RED LETTERS, don't you wolfie.
REDRUM REDRUM REDRUM

Just a quick question for the Frac. Folks. On the schedules of 7 on, 7 off, On Avg. how many nights are spent away from domicile. Are you actually gone for 7 straight days, or are they all pretty much home at nights except for a few overnights? Might sound a little ignorant, I just dont have a clue how the fracs work. Thanks

You will be gone for all six nights. Period.

In >3.5 years I have had one day at home and one overnight at home.

When you are working you are gone. BUT when you are off, you are off.

Hope it helps.

Being a Mainiac....I'll tell you to move to New Hampshire. Its closer to Boston and their is no state income tax. Maine hits us for 8.5% State income tax and we really don't get anything for it.

New Hampshire has higher property taxes but in the end you'll make out better there.

I kind of consider Maine the Mississippi of New England.

I hear that you mainers have some somalians to pay for though?

Hey CS guys. I am gathering info for several friends trying to get started in this business. How are things at CS? Do you have to pay for your own hotel during training? How long? Upgrade times, and what kind of schedules 5 on and off etc.?

Thanks

Sorry to tell you that crashpads are NOT an option. You can move wherever you want whenever you want as long as you are <2hrs from the base. Maybe bite the bullet and beg, steal, and borrow to make the move happen asap.

So he produces a utility bill or drivers license, how are they going to know the status of the residence, crash pad or otherwise?

Be creative.

My poor cousin has been sensitive about his looks for a long time. It would not be a nice thing to do and bring up his appearance. Heck, not all our family can be as good looking as me, the patriarch of the tribe!
