Can anyone tell me about the CS interview? I hear they do a phone interview first? What does it all entail?

Im hoping to get a call sometime soon and just trying to have as much background information that i can. Thanks in advance.

First of all. you have to live within 120 minutes of one of their domiciles. If you don't, I doubt you get a call. The interview is very straight forward. Learn as much as you can about them. Very little technical on the telephone, just general questions. This is a very good outfit. Best advice is to be yourself and be honest. If you don't know, just say so.

What about CJ3s?

When will the CJ3s start to arrive? How many are expected total and within those, how many will be on the line by the end of 2005?

Hi,

I just got a call from the CP today. I live in CA and would love to fly for CS. Any advice on the phone interview would be appreciated.

Thanks and fly safe!

P.S. This furlough stuff (my first one) is a bummer...

Is CS adding new aircraft on a regular basis - is this the reason for more hiring (adding CJ3s and Sovereigns) or is it an attrition issue? Can your fleet type be based on your own geographic location (i.e., you live in California and there are fewer CJ1 owners there so you are put on the Bravo fleet)?

What is the update regarding the new CJ3s?

Any chance of getting an interview w/o the ATP ride completed? Got the written done but haven't taken the practical yet.

At 2,700 hours with jet experience, you should have already completed it. Go get it done. You need it to be remotely competitive for al most any turbine job.

Mason,

Check the CS website and click on Employment Opportunities. I just looked at it and it states that an ATP is required for employment.

It looks like you are very close to the mins, so take that ride asap!
