I may have an opportunity to take a position with a company flying a Citation II in southern Alabama. Anyone know what the appropriate pay range would be? I've got 1500 TT 650 ME. Flying would be roughly 250 hours per year with SIC type/school.

Thanks in advance.

hopefully you will get 30 K, but who knows either way its good experience. I would imagine your boss will come in with a low ball salary. If you get the avg as printed in Pro Pilot for a citation SIC that would be great.

Im from the northwest ohio area and work pic/sic in a ciation and the owner paid for my pic type and im making 25 a year and full beenies. The pay could be better but in a year i should be able to make more than what i am making now

Bama job

Over the past year or so several posts have come up about a position flying a Citation in Mobile... If I recall correctly, they all indicated that the pay was very low...

Good luck,
MT

I took a part 91 job on a 500 series when I had about the time you have now.

So-cal operator. 35k salary + all the floor mopping, car washing and brow beating you could ever wish for. Got in, got out, moved on. Good times. No Regrets.

Ask for 45k.

Thanks

Thanks to everybody for their responses.

Another question...is there a big difference in SIC and PIC school for this aircraft and would it be out of the question to ask for a PIC type? This being my first shot at flying a jet, I'm just not sure how it all works... the negotiations that is. Also, any other important questions I should be asking?

Thanks again in advance.

its not Chipola is it? some call the panhandle of Florida southern Alabama. . .

well, thats good. . .they have a couple of citations as well...stay far far away

At FSI the SIC ride is the exact same ride as the PIC. 2 week school, 1st week systems, 2nd week sim. Study hard and you'll do fine....Edmo did you go to WMU by any chance?
