Hello;

I have a CE-500 type from long ago and I haven't flown one in many years. I'm wondering if anybody knows how much it costs to get recurrent in the Citation and what some good training providers might be.

Thanks.

$5540 for the 3-day C500 recurrent at SimCom in Orlando.

Give www.prestosim.com a call.

I've been there twice and have several friends who have gone. You will train on a CE550 sim.

They were giving a 20% discount to new clients.

They are in Grapevine, TX, in the old CAE QuickTurn building.

Yeah, Simcom will get you back up and running. They are one of the cheapest. That 3 day recurrent is only 2 sim sessons. The 1st day in nothing but ground. Sim sessions are 4 hours long. 2 hours in left seat. 2 hours right seat.

I ve always liked FlightSafety better as far as training is concerned. But the prices are steeper.

SIMCOM in Orlando is good . Good hotel selection and restaurants 5 minutes from facility .

Some of these providers require that you go thru the full initial again if its been longer than 3 years.

Check with who you are planning on flying with. Some management companies do not recognize Simcom as an insurance approved training provider. It's FAA approved, but the insurance companies have the final say in what training is acceptable.

If Simcom is ok with your situation and you are able to get takeoff and landing currency completed in an airplane, the Scottsdale, AZ center has a 3 day recurrent in their level B 5-tube CE550 sim for $3900.

Good luck!
