Just wondering what a decent headset would be for a Citation 5 series. It just might be time for me to turn in my DC 10-13.4s...
Let me know what is good to use, and if anyone has one they are selling, even better.
Thanks, Tim

I use the Telex 750 in both the Citation and Falcon. Works great. light weight, comfortable. We had the Telex ANR's for a while but I found them uncomfortable, especially with sunglasses, and hot. Not to mention the having the battery box cluttering the arm rests.

However, to each their own...

I don't fly the Cessna, but all Gulfstreams are delivered with three Telex 750s. Any headset you have to wear for over 14 hours can become a fatigue factor, but the Telex is light weight and cool so it minimizes this effect.

We happen to have the Bose X headsets in the plane that I fly.... they are great, but after a long day they can get pretty fatiguing. And in another C560 that we have the Telex 750s... a lot of wind noise off of that huge windscreen.

I would look hard at the Telex 850s if I was going to fly another Citation. I hear that the guys in the CRJ really like them, and there is no batter pack required. Honestly suprised that Gulfstream is not putting them in the newly delivered airplanes to be honest, they are usually on the for-front of technology.
