I don't think Chrysler has anything to do with Pentastar anymore. I think a member of the Ford family owns it.

Ford owns Pentastar but the Chrysler Aircraft still run out of there every day. The guys that were laid off were Hawker pilots. The companies that actually owned 2 of the hawkers sold the aircraft and left those pilots planeless. It sucks for them, one of the guys was one of my commercial students.

But its not the Ford Motor Company that owns Pentastar, it is one of the Ford Family members.

Edsel Ford is the owner of Pentastar. They manage several companies aircraft. Mostly automotive related. Several planes have left or are in the final stages of being sold. The Hawker pilots were let go as was one flight attendant. In addition several pilots have left Pentastar to go to the airline and other companies. N2F
