Wondering if anyone out there has any information regarding Chrysler Aviation based at VNY. just trying to find out a little about the company as far as pilot treatments, pay rates, schedules, job security. thanks!

I used to work with a pilot that came from Chrysler. They have a reputation not only in the Van Nuys Airport, but pretty much throughout the Charter industry at least in California, of accepting charters which no one will accept. Some shady, some illegal... Now, I ask you, would you want to risk your certificate? I'm surprised the FAA hasn't shut them down... and this opinion is shared by even the FAA down there.... They'll work your ass off, no doubt, tons of shady operators out there.... Good luck..

Well, since you mentioned it, it's pretty normal to have their planes fly with (I kid you not...!!) a minimum of ten squawks!!! Oh yes, I've seen their a/c... They've already killed a couple of pilots on one of them a few years back.....

I know someone that turned down the job they were offering! I think it was for good reason.
