Chq Pool Time

I recieved a letter from CHQ a few days ago saying I was selected to be in a hiring pool but hiring is not garunteed even though your in the pool. Any idea how long the wait for a class date with them typically is? And is the sentence about the pool not being a garunteed spot just for legallity purposes or is there a possibility of not getting a class date?

I've been in the pool for over five years. Never a call from anyone there. I think you have to keep bothering them with resume updates and stuff. I'd be a emb-170 captain by now...

About 10 days for me, same for many other people here. Some as low as about 12 hours, some as high as several months. Lots of hiring going on now, so it shouldn't take long. Find out more at chqlounge.com.

Do you have something in your background? They are interviewing like crazy so i really dont know why you would be in their pool if the hiring is not gauranteed. Isnt the pool for people who already been hired and just waiting for class dates?

i have nothing in my background....and others from my group were placed in a pool to.

I know that it succccckkkks to just sit and wait to get a class date but hang in there. I am sure that you will get a call soon. Try not to stress out too much but i know how you feel. Good luck. ATleast you did well enough for chq to put you in the pool.
