We at Comair were told that CHQ's cost structure was low enough to make MCO work. Can any one give any numbers as far as pay rates for the 135 and the 145. Just curious.
According to Delta the reason CHQ got the contract is because the aircraft (37 seats) had some operating advantages (fuel burn and EYW loads etc...) over the Comair aircraft (40 seater). According to them the 40 and 50 seat Comair aircraft have the same operating costs with the exception of the purchase/lease amounts.
Is there any difference in the aircraft of the 40 and 50 seaters at Comair or is the interior config just different?
Are the pilots on the same payscale at Comair in the 40 and 50 seat aircraft?
