Negotiations start up today in D.C. Hopefully we'll have some good news at the end of the week.

So what ever happened between you and Republic and Shuttle America? What is the status of Republic? Everything seems to be quiet. Any hiring (at CHQ not Rep--whoops)?

Hopefully we'll here some good news regarding the contract tomorrow or into the weekend. Supposedly after the contract is finished we will resume hiring and take on more jets for Delta. There are plenty of rumors out there so we'll see what happens in the near future.

heres a rumor for ya...

flightsafety was asked on behalf of CHQ if they could handle 100 a month.....

perhaps old info in some circles...but watch those rumor mills churn!!!

Flightsafety? How much? 10,000 bucks like the last downturn or 24,000 as rumored over at one recent carrier that went pay to play?

I thought Flight Safety has been doing the training for chautauqua in the past. I was under the inpression that CHQ contracted FS, not that it was pay for training. Any rumors to CHQ's fleet plans or a code share with united?

CHQ's training is done by Flight Safety in St. Louis and Houston. Training is roughly 6 weeks long (1 week indoc IND, 3 weeks systems STL, 2 weeks Sim).

Rob,

Glad to see you're not one of those "dry rub" weirdos!

(I'm talking about the pork, people. Sheesh!)

Another thread hijacked by barbeque!
