Interview

Just curious as to when you filled out the online app. I filled it out 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back from them as of yet.

Patience Grasshopper.

Rosa gets 100's per week. It takes a bit to go through them all, but she is good about contacting.

I think it took 3 - 4 weeks before I heard anything.

Best of luck

800 / week was the last number I heard...

(2 weeks? Are you kidding?) There are guys furlughed with 5000 hours that you are competeing with at ALL regionals...

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if many regionals want too many of them.

since it seems that most regionals aren't making these guys sign over their seniority as their furloughed employers, it doesn't make sense to hire ALL furloughed guys.. .

they don't want to have ALL their pilots disappear in a short span later. They can only manage to hire a certain percentage of guys that they could conceivable lose in the nearish future.

Any word from the inside how it will affect CHQ if USA re-enters bankruptcy?

How many planes is CHQ operating on that side of the fence & out of how many total a/c does CHQ operate?

85 A/C - 32 for USA, 32 forDAL, 15 for AAL and a few spares. and growing...

DON"T WORRY ABOUT THE WHAT IF'S, YOU'LL GO NUTS!!

CHQ is currently in talks with 2 new partners for feed..(UAL and the 2nd one is under wraps)

About 40% our flying is based on US AIR.

If US AIR were to go tits up, it would be a feeding frenzy for the majors to take-over those routes. This would affect ALOT of us. Feed would be needed immediately to take-over these routes. Who, (majors & regionals) takes these routes is any ones guess.

It would be an East coast shake-up like we have never seen before.

from what he has implied in the past... if we should lose the airways flying, there are options for what to do with those a/c.

My guess is that it would be something similar to when Am. West pulled out of CMH... DAL took over those planes and routes.
