Hey guys,
I read a post on hear that CHQ was going to put 30 airplanes in DFW and planned on 100/200/300 departures a day for Delta. Just curious where this info is coming from. Surely not from CHQ management, I think they have left a little to be wondered about their business practices. Everything I hear points to a short term with CHQ in DFW.
Is it possible that these 30 airplanes are going to be for Republic if you don't have to go to the strike. My understanding is that if CHQ strikes, republic would have the one thing they need, airplanes. I may be all wet on this.
Another question, How much does it cost to operate a EMB-135 compared to a EMB-120. Not a fair comparison you say, but that is the flying that CHQ is picking up out of DFW. I'm sure that your cost structure is not so low that you do it more efficiently than the 120. You might be faster, but how much do you save on trips under 250 miles? Just questions that have come up in fleet meetings, and general discussion.
