This will bring it to 17 in the RAH (dysfunctional) family, 11 for CHQ. Basically, throw a dart at a map and you'll hit a crew base...

many bases really is not a good thing, it thins the pairings and makes it difficult for PrefBid to build good schedules.

It also dilutes senority, I could hold a capt. slot at half the bases in the company, but I'm a reserve FO in ORD.

You mean throw a dart at the Midwest? Nothing but a bunch of $hit towns for bases. The only good ones (MCO and FLL) were of course closed. I'd have to say ATL is the only decent one left. I've heard CLT is opening as well.

most of the bases that are now opening are hub bases, which is good. just need to close the non-hub bases
