I am looking for an average salary number for a part 135 Chief Pilot position. The company is a 135 company with a mix of scheduled and on demand operations that is operating two piston twins. The job includes approximately two days a week of scheduled flying and the remainder of the time is management duties. These duties include crew management and scheduling, aircraft management, and trip planning. The company is located in the Southeast US.

Thanks

Well, there isn't a lot of good sources out there for the type of info you are looking for, BUT using the Pro-Pilot Salary Survey, they have "Charter Turbo-Prop Captain" is about as close as I can find... For something small like a Cheyenne II/III they are showing the average salary as $42,000 with the low being $31,000 and the high being $52,000.

Based on this, being that you have Piston twins (smaller planes) but Chief Pilot (Higher title) I would guess somewhere right around $45,000-$50,000/year would be in the ballpark...

Hope this helps...
