Corporate Aviation/ CORPORATE PILOTS Come Fly with Us: Chicago Area Aircraft management company is seeking professional pilots to crew various business jets in our fleet. Current openings are for Beechjet, King Air 100, and Learjet 60 first Officers. We offer Benefits, Paid vacations, sick days, per diem, and 401k after a year. Pay is $18,000 to $22,000 to start, with an opportunity to cross check into a second jet, along with subsequent pay raises. There is no set flight schedule. One year training agreement required. Fax Resume to 630-466-5102

Anyone know anything about this place? Seems to me that the pay is a little on the low side for a corporate/charter type place.....

630 job

It is another company trying to figure out how big
a sucker you are.

The owners are millionairs driving the best cars, eating
the best food living a big dream.

They know a low time guy will pay to have this job.

Just think of the jet time!!!!!

This is a good job for a young pilot living at home
with mom and dad.
I hope mom and dad will pay for your dental though.
I am sick of seeing toothless pilots with rotting teeth
giving their life away so that they can be a pilot!!!!

Insurance, Vacation, 401k are big words.
Cheap insurance that you struggel with to get your return.
Vacation? Sorry, we are short on pilots, we can't give it
to ya till later.......may be.
401k....HO, ho ho!!!! They will take 10% of your pay
and contribute 1%.

Cross train to the second plane. You will now be gone
twice as much for a fraction of the wages.

Just think though, you will be at FLT 410 saying to yourself,
" Look at me!! I am a jet pilot at 41,000!!! I will get I will
layed tonight!!!!

You will not have money for a nice place to live. You will
drive a 15 to 20 year old car. Your teeth will rot.
Your bar bill will consume the rest of your worth.

You will work very hard. Then when the fun wears off
reality will set in.
You will take some days off for rest or to take care
of bills, Dentist or what have you, but they will
be angry at you because they are always short of pilots.
Your just not a company man all of the sudden.

You will find that they will fly you so hard that you won't
have time to eat. You might ask for a little something to eat
just to find out you are denied because they pay you perdiem!!
You should have thought about food the day before!!

Well, go take that cool jet job for that fellow who drives
the latest Mercedes V12 or BMW whom you will fly to Aspen
so that he can have R & R in his little shack.

Trust me, he does not give a flying F^#* about you and your
wages.
He is the same one sending jobs to China instead of trying to
fix the problems of America.

Almost every passenger that will get on your plane will be
thilthy rich. You will ask yourself why you took this
job that pays as much as unemployment. You will wonder
what is wrong in this system.

Mr. Mercedes, BMW driver cares more for his car than for your
well being.

You make any complaints and you will be replaced like
a peice of toilot paper, a dixie cup or a McDonald
cheeseburger wrapper.

But, if you make it through all of this, you might
have one of your pals in a big corportate flight department
feel sorry for you, and you might just get a jab at the
real thing if he likes you.

Unfortunatly, this did not happen for me.

Well Son, you might think I have a bad attitude. But all
I want you to do is make you think about what you are going
to do with this underpaid job before you take it.

You might even be better off flying for Air Wisconsin.
They pay $20,000 to start. But at least you are flying
common folk just like you, who will seriously appreciate
you!!

Good Luck Bud

B.A.

Okay Jacka$$,

Did I say anything about applying there? I'd rather go work for an airline for that money, at least you have a frickin schedule, and at a good regional, your second year pay is pretty decent.

I'm actually curious about it because I'd like to know who runs it, I'm from the area. I didn't know if this was a new company, or if they took over an old company at ARR...

As far as I'm concerned, a company like this should rot in he11. If they wan't good employees, they should pay a decent wage. They should be paying almost double what they're advertising.

I don't even meet there mins, they want 2500 TT. I wonder what kind of people they'll get. I'd hope someone with those quals would hold out for something a little better.

I'd rather work at Wal-Mart as a greeter or something than work for these stupid dicks.

The fact of the matter is, it's their market right now. There are a lot of people looking for work, and lots of them are willing to fcuk others over and work these kind of sh!t positions. I hope these people get what should be coming to them, just hope no one gets hurt in the process.

As for the sucker comment, screw you too....

JackAss?

I am sure in the future.....
you will try to screw me.

That is the way this job works to get ahead.

Only for the perfect.

Huh?

Just like gas prices, once they get you used to 2.15 a gallon, they drop it back to 2 bucks and you think it's a graet deal. Now 2nd year pay is decent at a good regional? They got ya!

Now thats a sucker.

way to go! Go back and edit your first post after I post a response....

I understand your pain. I'm in agreement with you 100%. Whoever takes this job will be doing this profession a major disservice. It won't be me. I'm in agreement, this job sucks, and PFT guys suck.....

I don't know, but I thought Comair was considered to have set the bar on regional wages? When I said good regional, I meant a place like Comair, or Skywest, where the 2nd year CRJ pay is mid 30's per hour, and employees are actually "happy", unlike you two.

Based on the fleet and phone number, I think it's Trans American Charter/Executive Flight Management. I don't know anything else about their operation, but with such low pay, I wouldn't expect much.

yup

I completely agree that it is jobs like these that lower the industry. They know people will lick their a$s just to get a shot at a jet job. He11, people will pay almost 20,000 to fly a beach 1900 for colgan....and they dont pay u but about 18,000 a year... So basically you are working for free for a year....forget all the money you spent to get your ratings, all the hard work and time you put into being qualified to fly for them. I would hate to think that at 2500 tt you would be willing to take a job paying 18,000 a year for a corporate company. It is rediculious.

I was at FSI in Tus with one of these guys and he had to pay for his type rating. The company does in-house initial training and the sends you to recurrent and has you sign a contract.

Sorry you think I was attacking you because I edited the original message.
I am some what new at this and hit submit at the wrong time.

Of course, most people are used to getting mud slung at them.
You just happened to be signed on at the same time a did the message.
I did not expect you to respond so fast. I did not even have time to
read my own quote and you responded.

Perhaps I should make sure that the person that I respond to is not
logged on just so I can protect myself in case I happen to edit.

I also feel you responded a little to fast with " Jack Ass".
But you can never convince folks that you made a mistake.
And that's how it happened.

Oh Well,
