I am just curious what the deal is with this:

Benefits:Medical (Basic health-HMO, PPO, POS, dental-DMO/DPO, vision-VSP, long/short term disability and life insurance) Training is paid for pilots over 1200TT.

Airline Training
Training is provided by FlightSafety, St. Louis, MO and San Antonio, TX.
Pilots under 1200TT are paid the full cost of training over a 2 year period of time. This is done to promote a 2 year commitment with the company for investing in a motivated lower time pilot.

Does that mean that you guys are going PFT, or will it become a training contract. I am just curious if this is a new poilcy or anything, and since when do people upgrade in 3-6 months. I am not trying to begin a battle with PFT or anything... just curious.

That would then make sense how guys are buying the seat at 400 hours if this holds true...(don't know for sure since this isn't something that too many would be proud of and bragging about) Fortunately this nonsense is pretty much not seen at the other regionals if I am reading into this correctly. IF they are having to pay for the training out of pocket then this is somewhat comical.

ps>>> What is the total cost of the training ?

Some of these aviation job boards are a great help. Unfortunately the information they post can be obsolete. As I posted on another C8 thread, this hiring info is 4 yrs old. PFT, FlightSafety, and upgrade times are incorrect.

C8

This is all false. That's info from the Jetstream days.
