What are the odds of ABX moving all of CHI operations to Wilmington in order to cut costs on Travel, HR, Maint Control, Crew Sched. etc..etc..?

What are the odds of ABX moving all of CHI operations to Wilmington in order to cut costs on Travel, HR, Maint Control, Crew Sched. etc..etc..?

The odds are 0. Abx does not own the airport anymore DHL does. We do not have enough room as it is. Astar does not even do their maint. on base. And if you have been reading the news lately we are not in a very good position to ask DHL for any favors.Helping ABX make save/make money outside of our ACMI with DHL is not very high on DHLs list.

That, plus everyone with any clout is sticking with the mantra of keeping the operations and certificates entirely separate. Expect CHI to exist for at least the two years specified in the buyout. Who knows after that. Otherwise, I'd guess it all really depends on what shakes out in the interim between DHL, ABX Holdings, Astar and ABX along with BAX, who's really an outsider in all this at the moment. In the meantime, all we can really do is make sure we don't let them pull any of the tricks from the Atlas/Polar playbook.

Of course if ABX ended up running everthing for DHL that would change everything!
