Does anybody in the Denver area know of any FBO's that rent out aircraft? I have a CFII rating and am a Commercial Part 121 pilot, who is looking to get checked out in a Piper or Cessna. I'm looking into doing alittle GA flying. If anybody can help me please post.

I had a good experience at Aspen Flying Club at KAPA a year or two ago when I was in Denver for a business trip and wanted to find someplace to get a local checkout. Very friendly people even when they know you're not going to be a frequent customer.

I live in Littleton which is on the southwest side of town. I'm not familiar where all the local airports are located, except for centennial. Are there FBO's to go to other than joining a flying club?

I don't think so, the FBO's I know of don't rent airplanes. I can recommend Key Lime Flights at Centennial. Very friendly, nice aircraft, great rates. They may give you a deal on the monthly fee if you're an airline pilot. I need to go get checked out there again myself!

I second the notion to go to Key Lime Flights, now known as Flights Inc. By far, they are the cheapest at APA, plus they are nice people who know their stuff. I got my Instrument and Commercial Single there a few years back.
