in the book she says not to bring a flight bag to the interview. To instead bring a briefcase or just a professional folder.

What do you guys think?

What if you need to look something up?

All of the interviews I went to, people brought a briefcase or attaché. No flight bags. Doubt you'll be given the opportunity to look anything up, except maybe your logbook while filling out a flight time grid or something, but most of that is usually done prior to the interview.

Ditto. . .

All you need to have will fit in a regular briefcase. Logbooks, resume, references, etc.

You don't need a flight case and you will look like a huge dork if you bring one. That is not the time or way to make your statement about how you are unique.

So leave the flight case at home, unless you want to show the interviewer that you have the skills necessary to keep Jepps up to date. ;)
