I am newly based out of LAX and I have to be in LA six days a month, does anyone know where the best hotel rates are?

I have not spent much time in LAX, so I could not tell you for sure. I will be going to LAX tomorrow for an overnight. The company sent me the itinerary and it shows the La Hacienda as being booked at $45.00 for the one night stay, that does not seem too bad. I am sure that it is a company rate. You might be able to get a comparable aircrew rate on your own with an ID. Hotel ph: 310 615 0015. Good luck!

FearlessFreep has it right: The Hacienda is reasonably priced and in a good location (grocery store, and bank across the street, and a couple restraunts within short walks).
The rooms are all pretty nice and they have a bunch of them. They also have regular shuttle service to/from the airport.

I stayed at the Hilton LAX(3-5 minute complimentary Hilton shuttle ride - close by)recently and got a crew rate of $52.00/night. I only have stayed there on one-night stints, two separate times. Same rate both times. Clean, nice rooms. You can hear some heavy jets taking off now and then but it is otherwise quiet. Pool, workout - $6, etc.

Carls Jr., mini mart, dennys close by, coupla restaurants in the hotel.

I just stayed 3 nites at the Hilton Airport for $75/nite. Nice downstairs, but the rooms are in need of remodel.
