What are the current flight crew bases for CHQ?
Thanks so much for any replies.

CHQ Junior Bases...

CHQ FC's...what are your junior bases...times on reserve...policy on commuting......hiring trends for '04...

Thanks...

The Junior bases seem to be Orlando (because of the E135 Pay). St. Louis (because of the E140 pay), and maybe, La Guardia to a certain extent.

The reserve time may vary but I think you may sit reserve for 6-9 months. I really am not too sure about that, but maybe some who know for sure can reply.

Our EC and company have said that they want to double our pilot group in a year and half to 2 years. Sounds like a decent hiring trend.

Hope this helps.

Cracker...

Greatly appreciate the reply...gives me a good idea of where the company is at...

Thanks again...

P.S.
Another question which I forgot...upgrade timetable...how does it look thus far?

This post was a bit off...

1) 135 pay DOES NOT effect FO's. Fo's get the same $$$ no matter where they are. Effects Captains ONLY. However FO's do better there do to no State Tax.

2) The junior bases are GSO & BUF

3) The hiring has nothing to do with what the EC wants.

4) The reserve time varies on the base and the hiring at the time. I heard reserves in MCO fly the most. ( mainly that is where most of them are).

5) Reserve Question : Basically the most senior guy on reserve is posted below.
BUF by far is he most junior with entire last class going there.

BUF: 06/05/03 ( 1/2 the class line holders, 1/2 reserve)

CMH: 05/05/03

GSO: 05/05/03 3 reserves

IND: 04/09/03

LGA: 05/21/03 5 reserves

PHL: 03/24/03 3-4 reserves

RIC: 05/21/03 2 reserves

STL: 03/03/03 ????

MCO: 04/09/03 10 reserves

the entire last class is NOT going to BUF. was 6 but now 5 of us are going to BUF, the rest to CMH, GSO, LGA, PHL....our class is 16

Good correction on the bases. I wasn't thinking straight...you're right. And your also correct that our EC doesn't control hiring but they did say that the company want to double our pilot group. Either way, thanks for the correction on the bases.

If you read it a little more carefully you can see the "last class" is 1/2 reserve and 1/2 line holders... This would negate you and your fellow class mates since you have not completed IOE and our not on the seniority list....
