Anyone have any links or details on the emergency that happened in Cincinnati the other day? I was on the frequency at the time, and all I really ended up finding out was that the captain was having trouble breathing, there was smoke in the aircraft, and an engine had failed.

I could tell they were on oxygen masks, and at first the FO sounded fairly rattled, but by the time they were switched over to tower he seemed calmed down.

I couldn't find anything about it on the internet, so I imagine everything turned out okay.

... You decided to be a pompous jerk.

There is great controversy over whether being a pompous jerk is a choice or if it is something you are born with.

cool...the original post was a honest question followed by 3 idiotic posts...i was referring to them in response to justanumber...hey..we will be hiring soon...but u might have to spend some time in HKG or CDG...later

No problem. Wife has an "in" to transfer to either, but rumor has it that CDG will fill up. I have my "Chinese for dummies" ready to go though.

Zai jian (good bye)
