As a first year F/O i qualify for food stamps at my current domicile.
and another extra way to get money on your days off is to just take your hat brass off and wear your trench coat and hat and be a pseudo sky cap. Works great, and their luggage probably wouldnt have gotten there anyways..

Another thing, do the Teamsters have the resources available (compared to ALPA) for a fight like this? Maybe they have a few "other" resources ALPA could have used. It will be interesting to see who does better in the end, YV the ALPA carrier or CQ the Teamsters carrier.

"Essentially Johnny O just lost the Freedom Fight completely. Despite trying his best to screw the pilot group (and he's a pro at this) in the not so long run he failed. Freedom is back to being a union carrier like it should have been. Hopefully that will be a lesson to other carriers and they won't try to do the same thing."

WileE, I think you are jumping the gun just a bit. If the TA passes, and that is a big IF, then what you are saying is correct. The fact is Freedumb is still non-union and if the TA fails then it will be for the distant future, -Bean

For those of you that think Ornstein (lorenzo of the regionals) lost the battle over Freedumb Air, your crazy! He was able to establish this non-union alter ego carrier, and then use that carrier as a negotiating tool against ALPA. One of the above posts states that the pay rates have been raised slightly for the jets and not at all for the props. JO got exactly what he wanted, and was even able to let some of you think that you won the battle.

Mayday.

Mayday nailed it. Bulls eye.

Republic is the same, only different. The difference being Bedford learned from JO's mistakes and ensured sufficient separation to avoid "single carrier " issues, and thereby greatly complicating legal challenge.

This is gonna be a big fight. It may not go any further than CHQ, but then again, if it works there it will set a precedent.
