Obviously NOS and Jeppesen make IFR/VFR charts. Their is another company out there that makes charts as well. I think they are fairly new, i saw a guy that comes into the fbo i work at the other day and he uses them. It looks like a big atlas book with the spiral bindings. I was currious if anyone has any info on this company and if anyone uses these charts. How well do you like them?

Airchart Systems www.airchart.com I have used them for about a year and have been happy with them. The atlases are a bit bulky though. They use NACO (formerly NOS) approach plates and send you update info. You can mark the new info on your plates or download new ones. Each year they send you new charts. Cheaper and easier updating than Jepps or NACO especially if you need coverage for a large geographic area. For a smaller area I would just go with Jepps or NACO.

Thats what i was talking about......thanks alot. When i have the money im think im just gonna end up with these for my personal flying.

Thanks again.

I use aircharts for their VFR and IFR atlases. I love them. Easy updates and nice to not run out of charts on those cross countries. For Plates, I just pickup NOS charts at the FBO as I need them
