My company is interested in getting a short-term charter deal going with an African company (hopefully out of Nairobi). I know of only one charter outfit there called Safari-Link. Anybody know of other safari charter companies in this region (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda)? It would be needed for just a couple of short hops per week into little dirt strips here or there. Any general advice about dealing with African charter companies would be greatly appreciated.

I have little experience over there, in fact I'm trying to get back over there and do some flying. I cant comment on Kenya but I have experience in Tanzania.
PM me for more
cheers
Paul

Read the front page article from the March 19 Wall Street Journal. Then re-consider EVER flying an aircraft for a charter operator based in Africa.

Gutshotdraw - do you have a link the above-referenced article or know where I can find it? I am not a WSJ.com subscriber, unfortunately.

I think you have to pay to access their website. I actually read the steam-powered ink and paper thingy.....old school.
