anybody heard about this? it is a stage play where they act out the cockpit voice recorders on some major crashes
I heard there was a DVD out, anybody got one?

That's kinda morbid.

We can all learn from reading the transcripts, but someone is making "entertainment" of this?

I suddenly feel a need to go wash my hands.

I've seen the DVD. It is used in our training department during initial CRM indoc. As weired as it may sound I always thought it was a good training tool and has a informative purpose(in a corny way) rather than just "entertainment". Not sure where you can purchase it though.

There are some good things about it-I have seen some of it or something simular in training. When you can pause it and discuss right then what is going wrong-especially wrt crew coordination-it can be very educational.

The transcripts do not really put you in the situation like the video does.

There is a book titled "The Black Box" that has transcripts. I don't know if it is even in print any more.
