I met the crew in the Caribbean and am friends with one of their drivers. It is a managed airplane that does mostly charter, and they made no mention of any bennies like race passes, etc. In reality, the airplane is really a car dealer airplane, as opposed to a race team airplane. The drivers about never get to fly on it unless they are funded by sponsors to attend an event.

I am sure there is someone out there knows more.

I have several friends working there, including the chief pilot. Great bunch of people. The Chief Pilot likes things done correctly! Don't blame him. I think there pay might be typical for a South Florida operator in the beginning, but I am sure you will be treated great once you have shown what you have to offer. There crews sure are smiling whenever I see them. Never worked there, so I don't have much more information. If I was in Florida and could fly something other than a Lear 35, I would be happy to be a part of that team:).
As far as the other part of Champion Racing, I hope they kick ass in the ALMS this year. Think the R8 is great just wait tell they get an R10. Gelati Rules!

I have a friend that is flying for them, actually, she is one of my former flight instructors. She seems to like it.

Who are champion racing? Where are they based and what racing series are they with?

Loic is such a piece of junk. Champion Racing is operated on a 135 ticket called "A First Class Charter" They have a LR 35, 55 and a Falcon 50 and the chick is the FO in the 50 that some one metioned earlier instead of being the 35 captian. Based out of KBCT, pay is poor but you stay in nice places when on the road. I say stay away, the CP/DOO is a scum bag.

Are you saying it is not operated on a 135 Certificate?

Or that they pay well?

Or that the CP/DO is good guy?

Keep pumping gas Shamus. You are mistaken, guy.

Ha! Ha! What type of comment is that? I believe I provided more info on the subject at hand and I know how they operate. Speaking of pumping gas, you sound like someone that is a ground pounder at Avitat, and then I reread your previous post and you don't even live in S. Florida, so you have no clue about them. I live down here and know the company and am just trying to give this guy my honest 2 cents.
