Challerger 604 Captain Pay Rates/Contract

Trying to gain some good numbers on pay rates for a Challenger 604 Captain on a plane that would be based in the Northeast. 50%-135, 50%-91, 400-500 hours a year.

Any input on negotiating a contract and what benefits to include would also be appreciated. Want to get it right the first time and not wish for something else after signing the "dotted line".

What are you actually signing - a contract that locks you into some deal? If a contract is involved, it's been recommended to be careful. For some reason, it seems that any contracts that need to be signed mean the operation is not telling the truth on how "well" they treat their people. I think the average is $105K left seat - but not sure of specific for your area.

I agree w/ your 105K number, AZ. I checked all the big salary surveys last winter and the average range was 103.5 to 105 range for PIC 604. Of course there will be alot higher #s on the east coast.
