Challenger ?

I am currently working 11-12(60-70hrs) days a month. In an effort to keep my sanity and make some more cash I interviewed for a job detailing A/C for one of the corporate outfits, they have two challenger 604's. My idea is that this might help me getting hired to fly some day. I'm planning to stay with my current employer for another 1 1/2 - 2 years. With my times do any of you think I would have a decent chance flying that equipment in a couple of years? I'll probably have around 3300- 3500 TT and around 1700 ME turbine. I guess this is really an insurance question. Your thoughts and experiences will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, as long as they send you to proper training it is no big deal (insurance wise) to be flying a Challenger (as SIC) with 3,000 hours.

I would agree, your on the right track. knowing the people in the departments you want into is a must.. As an Sic most flight departments can do what they want. Thoses that can't are letting the insurance comapany set the times instead of the chief Pilot. PIC seems to be were I and others have had much more difficutlty. The last AIG form I filled out as Capt. only wanted JET PIC. no other time counted. Makes all that experiance and paying dues in the right seat not count for much on paper..
