Does anybody know where I might be able to access some Challenger 601 cockpit flows online? I am specifically interested in the bleed air panel. How to properly manage 10th and 14th stage bleeds etc.
The 14 stage is easy, leave the switches on because the valves fail open anyway. The only time you would turn them off is in an abnormal situation. You can exercise the switches occasionally if you feel it necessary.
The 10th stage switching is the "U" pattern. The direction is dictated by what you are trying to accomplish. To switch the packs from APU to 10th stage, go from right to left (APU start/stop, right 10th, Isol valve, left 10th, APU bleed) To switch the packs back to the APU bleed, reverse the order.
If your airplane has the -150 APU, I don't believe it's necessary to shut the APU down under load.
