Just wondering: Is Chalk's hiring right now? I've heard for quite some time now, that they will be bringing more planes on line, esp. the refurb. Albatrosses. Any current info on that?

And what would competetive Mins. be?

Thanks,
Sun'n Fun

Thought they used Mallards?

Sure, but they have a bunch of Albatrosses stored which were supposed to be refurb. and upgraded with Turbine Engines and then put on line next to the Mallards. The Mallards have "only" 17 Seats where the Albatross has about 30.

Cool, I learn something new everyday. Those sound like they'd be a hoot to fly.

That's why I asked in the first place... :D

Ever notice it is almost always the non military guys that get a stiffi over float/seaplanes?

Widgeon, Mallard, Goose, Albatross, Renegade, 180 amphib, Float cub....Mmmmm yeah! Make me wish I was the king of the parrotheads.

Now back to regular programing.

Let us just say a little birdy told me interviews have taken place this past week. Seems to me also you have to be extremly good friends or a family member with a pilot that already works there just to get an interview.
