From March through June about 70/month but in July it jumped to 85 and we've had a steady stream of new students since the beginning of Aug. Not sure where it will level off at...

I flew 91 hours last month but I average 70 hrs/month.

Optimally I'd like to fly 100 hrs/month but that isn't gonna happen with 7 CFI's at the school......

100hrs/mo in RI?? How on earth do you do that all year round?

On Long Island I was able to do 100/mo in the summer, but in the winter it dropped off like crazy. Over 2+ years in that area, I averaged 67hrs/mo or so.

We have 7 CFI's here. I've only been here about 6 months so I haven't been here during the winter. However, I hear it's been busy during the winter as well. We are the only 141 school in the state so I think that helps. I got a little over 125 hours last month!!!

A busy flight school is only as busy as the weather will allow. Some months on Long Island I flew as little as 38hrs in the winter.

In any case, you must have the best weather the Northeast has ever seen to average over 100hrs every month for six months. Is it never IFR where you live?

Fortunately we have a few instrument students which keeps us busy when the weather is crappy.
40-45hrs/month in Michigan. The reason I have resumes out to other states.
Now if I can find a flight school w/ twin opportunities hiring in GA/FL, I'll be all set =)

I flew 75 hours in June, about 45 in two weeks of July.

I would have flown ALOT more had I not missed every Thursday and Friday for my internship.
