I recently moved to Dallas and I'm looking for a quality school to do my CFI and CFII training.

Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

i hear good things about allatps and not too good about american flyers. with allatps you can go for your mei and maybe work there to build the golden multi-time. ... my 2 cents.

keep in touch, i'm going to be looking for a CFII in a couple of months.

I recommend Howell's Aircraft Services located at GPM (Grand Prairie Municipal). They have a bunch of pretty good instructors, and a REALLY good chief pilot named Dick Ehrler. He is an older wiser type of instructor, probably a real instructor that intends on doing it the rest of his life. I don't have any experience at Monarch in ADS (Addison), but they seem to be well run. Of course you can always go to American flyers, just like the earlier post says.

Dallas Training

I used to fly out of Addison in Dallas. I'd recommend Flight Line. When I was there, there were some very good CFIs over there and all were easy to get along with.

Thanks for the replies guys !

I'll check out Addison and Grand Prairie. As for Allatps I've already been there and they said in order to instruct there you have to have over 100 hours of multi and I'm nowhere near that number.
