When I go up with a student, I come back with notes all over the place. Sometimes I use sticky notes. Other times a tablet, the airplane's dispatch book. I have numbers and notes in several places trying o remember how many landings, nite versus day, cross-country etc.

Does anybody have a book for flight instructors?

I want to be able to put in my shirt pocket and record the flight's events. And be able to use it as a reference later on for entering information into the student's logbook.

What do you guys use?

Sorry. I posted this in the wrong place. Try one of these books. Pretty sharp and thorough.

Found it at:

Why not one of those spiral bound notebooks that fit in your shirt pocket?

This would appear to be the most logical solution, atleast that is what I had done in a past lifetime.

I use one of those pocket calendars that fits in your back pocket. I usually write notes and flight times in there so I can go back and double check. Just a thought.
