Getting ready to take the knowledge test, and get some instrument time in so I can take this checkride and get it over with.

Any tips, modivation, etc etc? Need to get this done already....

(emphasis added)

That says it all.

Aside from that, I always felt that instruments and multiengine are the essence of professional aviation. (No slight intended against firefighters and crop dusting - these areas take special pilots with special talents - talents I never had.) For that reason, I enjoyed teaching instruments and multi the most when I instructed - and not because I was building multi and instrument time.

Instruments are your bread-and-butter. You need to know instrument flying cold to do your job, and, more particularly, when you take the sim ride at your regional interview.

Moreover, having a CFI-I in your bag of tricks will help you get more work.

Is that enough motivation? Good luck with your CFI-I practical.

Thanks bobby.
Always enjoy and look forward to your words of wisdom. The help and advice you have given to me and the board, words can express the graditude! Much appreciated! That makes 5 lunches now I owe you when you come out to Michigan! :D Maybe I buy you a 5th of Cabo Wabo tequila and take you to a Sammy Hagar concert (onstage/backstage of course!)

As always, you're entirely welcome . .

Sammy still does, "I can't drive 55," doesn't he? I, and my wife, especially, would dig that.

Once more, good luck with your rating. While you're at it, be sure to save your pennies and get your MEI.

It's now "I can't drive 65" due to the speed changes around the country. Now when he's in Mexico, he can drive any speed lol!
