I am getting ready to start my training at a local Cessna Pilot Center (141), and was wondering if anyone had any opinions of this franchise. I will be going for all available ratings and hope to instruct there after completion to build some hours. Just wanted to hear others experiences with them. TIA

Cessna Pilot Centers are simply marketing tools for Cessna-- it's not a school like ATP or American Flyers where all the instructors nationwide have been through a central training event. Some are good, some aren't. It depends more on your instructor. Tell us where the school is and maybe someone can give you more information.

A Cessna Pilot Center means nothing - it means the school spent some money with Cessna, but there are no standards set or monitored.

Doesn't mean it's a good or bad school, just means the fact that it's a CPC won't help you one little bit in figuring out which kind of school they are.
