Cessna, Beech, etc. Wichita KS.?

Anyone have any insider info on how to best obtain a flying job (ie demo pilot, delivery pilot, test pilot, etc) with one of the aircraft manufacturing comapnies based in Wichita? Obviously I have gone to their websites, and filled out online applications, but I was wondering if anyone in here knew of a better way, or had any idea of what they specifically look for. THank you.
