What is a fair price to manage a new corportae flight dept 421. All trips will be part 91. The aircraft will fly 4 -5 times a month with majority of the flight being RON's I would be in charge of all mgmt of the aicraft's mx, fueling and flight planning. Any thoughts on price?

I manage a C421 and I charge $750 per mo for my time. I also fly the aircraft @ $300 per day. Additionally, I get a piece of the acquisition cost (usually a flat fee of $5K) and the selling price (2-4%). The company then depends on me to crew the aircraft, maintain, charts, etc. A complete chart subscription is kept on board and headsets are paid for by the owners.

The 340A I fly has a management fee of $900/month (this includes hangar fees) and $300/day for the pilot.
