Not one for starting rumors, but has anyone heard of this company starting service out of Jackson (HKS). Heard they underbid AirNet and will be taking some of the work.
Is it also true that Central Air SIC's pay for their time in the right seat?

Central Air Southwest... I believe their company HQ is Kansas City... and yes... the SIC's are PFT. Last I heard it was around $50/hr for commander time

In your best bend over voice...

"Low timers will benefit most from this exciting new position."

Well it always sucks to hear that we were underbid, but that just means no profit for the ones who will be doing it. If any Central guys are looking at moving there, i still have a house for sale there from my last move. Cheaper than rent... $785 month. Probably even less now since rates have gone down again since we bought it.

Central Air is a good company to work with. Well organized and the people/family running it are nice. I flew the AC-500 for them and had a great time. MX is good and all the fleet is standardized with VOR/LOC, VOR, GPS, Stormscope and TKS anti-icing system. Great way to build multi PIC and for low timers great experience to obtain multi time.
Best of luck and Fly Safe.
Happy Landings!
